Washington Wizards vs Milwaukee Bucks Betting Pick, Odds, Predictions & Lines
One of the hottest NBA betting teams in the league, Washington, will look to continue their excellent run as they visit Milwaukee on Wednesday night. The Wizards have been practically unstoppable last month. They lost only three times in the last 16 games. At the moment, Washington occupies the final play-in spot in the East and has a comfortable 4-game advantage over Toronto at 11th. Over the season, they’re still below .500 with a 30-35 record but are 37-28 against the spread.
The Bucks notched an important win last night against the Nets and are now only one and a half game behind them for the 2nd seed in the East. They’ve won 6 out of their last 8 games. More importantly, the Bucks have beaten both top teams in the East, Brooklyn and Philly, twice during that stretch. Overall they’re 41-24 straight up and 31-34 against the spread. This will be the third and final meeting between the two teams this season. Milwaukee won both of the previous matchups.
Washington Wizards vs Milwaukee Bucks Betting Odds And Line Movement
The opening NBA betting odds favored the Bucks by -7. The line has dropped a little at the best US Sportsbooks since, and now stands at -6. The total has increased a bit, from the opening 239.5 to 242 where it stands at the moment.
Notes On The Washington Wizards
Led by Bradley Beal and Russel Westbrook, the Wizards looked like one of the best teams in the lead over the last 30 days. However, the poor start to the season has cost them a higher seed, and they’ll have to find their way to the first round through the play-in tournament. Their offense has been on fire the whole season. With 115.77 ppg, the Wizz rank 4th in the league. On defense, though, the things don’t look so good. Washington ranks second from the bottom, allowing 118.06 points per game. Their last game vs the Pacers on Monday was the perfect example of how they played this year. It was a spectacular shootout that saw almost 300 points with the Wizards winning 154-141. Westbrook posted another mind-boggling stat line with 14 points, 21 rebounds, and 24 assists. Rui Hachimura led the scoring with 27 points and Beal added 26.
The only players unavailable for tonight are Deni Avdija and Thomas Bryant who are out for the season.
Notes On The Milwaukee Bucks
Milwaukee features one of the rare offenses that is even more potent than Washington’s. They lead the league in points scored per game with 119.35. The Bucks have made a serious statement in the East after beating Brooklyn in back-to-back games. Last night, they won 124-118. Giannis came out with another MVP-level performance after dropping 49 points on the Nets on Saturday. This time, he scored 36, along with 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Middleton and Holiday added 23 points each. Bryn Forbes continued to contribute from the bench with 14 points, shooting 4-7 from the deep.
The Bucks have an almost clean bill of health, with only Jeff Teague questionable. Alex Toupane is also out but he’s far from regular rotation anyway.
Washington Wizards vs Milwaukee Bucks Betting Pick & Prediction: OVER 242
This one’s a no-brainer. It’s hard to imagine anything else but a high-scoring shootout in a NBA betting matchup of two of the most explosive offenses in the league. Both previous games between the two this season went over this line.
