Seattle Seahawks vs Los Angeles Rams Betting Picks, Lines, Odds,& Predictions
After a perfect start to the season, the Seahawks (6-2 SU, 5-3 ATS) find themselves in a bit of a slump and will look to turn things around as travel down the West Coast to take on the Rams (5-3 SU, 4-4 ATS). The stakes are high as the winner of this matchup will take the lead in one of the most competitive divisions this year, the NFC West. Both teams lost last time out and as we enter the second half of the season the room for mistakes is rapidly shrinking.
Seattle Seahawks vs Los Angeles Rams Betting Line Movement
After some poor performances by the Seattle Seahawks, the Los Angeles Rams are favored in this game. The line opened at -1 with some moderate early action slightly moving it to -2. The oddsmakers expect an open and exciting game and the total is set at 54.5.
Notes On The Seattle Seahawks
Seattle’s defensive woes continued last week against the Bills as they allowed Josh Allen to throw for 415 yards and 3 touchdowns. They are now at the bottom of the league both in yards and points allowed, leaking embarrassing 455.8 total yards and 30.4 points per game. The Seahawks were hoping that the return of star safety Jamal Adams will help right the ship but instead, we got yet another lackluster defensive performance. Things have gotten bad to the point that not even the MVP-level performances of Russel Wilson and stellar offensive play are not enough anymore to win games.
Despite some issues with his offensive line, allowing almost 3 sacks per game, picking Rusell Willson for your lineup is still the easiest fantasy decision. WR D.K. Metcalf has also been amazing, but for this game, we’ll suggest going with the other receiver Tyler Lockett. Lockett has been hot and cold all year, and after a dud against the Bills, we feel it’s again time for a good performance. Particularly since most of the Rams scheming will focus on stopping Metcalf.
Notes On The Los Angeles Rams
The Rams have enjoyed a solid start to the season, mostly thanks to their stifling defense and a soft schedule. They have played 4 games against the terms from the miserable NFC east and got 4 wins out of them. The only other win came against the Chicago Bears. LA is coming off a bye week and it seems that it couldn’t have come at a better time as they were shut down by the Miami defense in Week 8, extending the streak of poor offensive performances. Jared Goff completed only 57.4 % of his passes against the Dolphins and threw for two interceptions. And, while the defense has been a better part of the team, Seattle will find a way to score and the Rams must find a way to put up some points themselves.
Having said the above, there’s no better game in football for restoring QB’s confidence that facing the dreadful Seattle’s passing defense. We believe that Goff will be able to trade some punches with Willson and could be in for a decent score. Goff targeted WR Cooper Kupp an incredible 20 times before the bye and if that trend continues we can expect LA’s slot receiver to convert at least some of those changes into a solid amount of fantasy points.
Week 10 Betting Pick:Seattle Seahawks +2
If the Seattle Seahawks managed to impose their style of play and turn this game into a shootout they should easily cover. With Adams back in the lineup, we can expect at least a slight improvement on the defensive side of the ball.
