San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks Week 8 Picks, Odds, Lines, Props, Parlays, & Predictions
Despite all the injuries that have followed them this season, the 49ers (4-3 SU, 4-3 ATS) are still in the playoff hunt, and a win against the divisional rivals, the Seahawks (5-1 SU, 4-2 ATS), could be the key to their ambitions for the rest of the season. On the other hand, Seattle sits on top of the AFC West and will look to further cement their place on Sunday.

Thoughts On The San Francisco 49ers Beating The Seattle Seahawks
After two surprising home losses to the Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles in week 4, the San Francisco 49ers managed to bounce back with the mini-streak of two wins against the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots, both time as small underdogs. They were absolutely dominant last week, keeping New England to only 6 points. Still, all of their points were on the ground or field goals, with Garoppolo throwing two interceptions and finishing with the QB rating of only 79.5. The passing game will suffer even further as WR Deebo Samuel is out for a few weeks. Their running will also take a hit with Jeff Wilson joining Raheem Mostert on the ridiculously long San Francisco injury list to make matters worst.
Injuries to Samuel and Wilson make things more interesting in fantasy terms. WR Brandon Aiyuk was excellent last week and will get even more chances against the poor Seattle Seahawks secondary. RB Jerick McKinnon missed the last game, but it was due to Shanahan resting him after the frantic start to the season. He’ll be raring to go against the Seahawks and should see more touches with Wilson out.
Thoughts On The Seattle Seahawks Beating The San Francisco 49ers
The Seahawks suffered their first defeat of the season against the Cardinals, but it was yet another electric performance from their offense. In one of the most exciting games we’ve seen this season, Russell Wilson threw for a season-high 388 yards and three touchdowns but also had three interceptions for the first time this year. The defense, however, continues to struggle and has allowed a historic 2875 yards through six games. We know that Kyle Shanahan is an offensive mastermind and will take anything the Seattle defense gives him.
In addition to his passing, Wilson also ran for 80 yards against the Arizona Cardinals, and although the defense is the better part of the 49-ers team, he should be able to put up at least close numbers. We can also expect big games from his wide receivers. Tyler Lockett exploded in the New England game with catching for 200 yards and three touchdowns, while D.K, Metcalf’s wasn’t as good, but he did have what was supposed to be a winning touchdown overturned due to a penalty.
NFL Week 8 Betting Pick Seattle Seahawks -3
The Seahawks had an upper hand in this matchup over the last couple of years, winning 11 of the last 14 games and covering the spread 14 out of 18. The 49ers are overperforming considering how depleted their squad is, and we expect that the in-form Russell Wilson will just be too much for them.
