What Are The Best NFL Week 5 Prime Time Betting Picks?
BetOnline has Tampa Bay favored by 5 ½ points on the road. The total line is set at 44 points.
Thursday Night Football- Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1) at Chicago Bears (3-1)
Tom Brady is starting to settle in as Tampa Bay’s quarterback. The Bucs are riding a three-game winning streak while averaging 32.3 points a game. They has gone 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games.
Chicago is not getting all that much respect for its 3-1 record. Although, the Bears have yet to beat a team with a winning record. The early betting consensus leans towards Tampa Bay at 66%.
I am betting the total in this game. It has gone OVER in 15 of Tampa Bay’s last 18 games. I have it going OVER again this Thursday night.
Sunday Night Football- Minnesota Vikings (1-3) at Seattle Seahawks (4-0)
The Seahawks have been opened as seven-point home favorites with a 57 ½ -point total line.
The Vikings snapped a SU three-game losing streak against Houston last Sunday. On the year, this defense is allowing an average of 31.3 points per game.
Seattle has been about as good as it gets in its perfect 4-0 start both SU and ATS. It would hard to see this run end at home. The offense has scored more than 30 points in all four games. It should be able to extend that streak to five as well.
The Seahawks have won their last five games against Minnesota SU. Make it six plus the cover.
Monday Night Football- Los Angeles Chargers (1-3) at New Orleans Saints (2-2)
The opening spread for Monday night has the Saints set as 7 ½-point favorites. Bovada’ total line is 51 ½ points. Three SU losses have the Chargers heading in the wrong direction. They gave up 38 points to Tampa Bay on the road last Sunday.
The Saints have been hard to figure out in their 2-2 start both SU and ATS. They have still been able to put points on the board with an average of 30.8 a game.
The total has gone OVER in the Chargers’ last six road games. It has also gone OVER in six of the Saints’ last seven games overall. Look for this game to go OVER as well with the Saints playing at home.
