NFL Week 10 Prime Time Betting Picks
The NFL Week 10 prime time lineup offers up a trio of interesting matchups starting with a divisional showdown for first place in the AFC South.
NFL Week 10 Thursday Night Football- Indianapolis Colts (5-3) at Tennessee Titans (6-2)
Intertops online sportsbook has opened Tennessee as a slight two-point home favorite with a 48 ½-point total.
A Colts’ win would change the entire complexion of this two-team race to the AFC South title. They are coming off a bad loss to Baltimore. However, Indy has won seven of its last eight road games SU against Tennessee. It also has a 7-3 SU record in the last 10 meetings.
Take the Colts and the two points as they bounce back on a short week with the SU win.
Sunday Night Football- Baltimore Ravens (6-2) at New England Patriots (3-5)
Baltimore goes on the road as a seven-point favorite with the total set at 43 points.
The Ravens cannot afford to slip up on the road in a game they are supposed to win. They trail Pittsburgh by two games in the AFC North standings. This includes a home loss to the Steelers in Week 8. The Patriots struggled to get past the winless New York Jets on Monday night. The short week will not help their cause.
Baltimore Ravens has extra incentive on Sunday night given some tough losses to New England in the recent past. It has also won its last 10 games on the road SU. Lay the points and take the Ravens.
Monday Night Football- Minnesota Vikings (3-5) at Chicago Bears (5-4)
The Vikings are set as 2 ½-point road favorites for this NFC North clash. The total line is 45 points.
Both teams are chasing Green Bay in the division standings. The Vikings are coming off back-to-back wins against the Packers and Detroit Lions to crawl back into this race. Chicago has lost its last three games SU with a week 9 setback to Tennessee on the road. Minnesota has better momentum but the Bears have more motivation as home underdogs.
The recent matchup trends also favor Chicago. The Bears have won four of the last five meetings SU. They have a 5-1 record ATS in the last six games between the two. I am riding the +135 money line at SportsBetting.ag in this one with a SU Chicago win at home.
NFL Week 10 Betting Trends:
Week 9 betting results were heavily skewed one way against the other in a rough week for Oddsmakers. Underdogs were able to cover the closing spread in nine of 14 games last week to favor the books. The total also went OVER in nine of those games to favor bettors.
Year-to-date, underdogs have been a solid bet ATS with a 57.9 winning percentage. The best bet at 58.2 percent has been underdogs playing on the road. Next on the list is underdogs at home with a 56.3 winning percentage. The total has gone OVER 54.2 percent of the time this season.
