Dak Prescott is the starting quarterback for one of the NFL’s highest-profile teams. It does not matter the Cowboys’ last Super Bowl title was in the mid-’90s. It does not matter they enter the new season with a new head coach off an 8-8 season.
What Are The NFL 2020 Player Props For Dak Prescott?

The NFL Future Betting Odds For The Cowboys’ odds are listed as follows:
- NFC East Division Title: -110 (First)
- NFC Conference Champion: +700 (Fourth)
- Super Bowl LV Champion: +1400 (Seventh)
- Win Total Projection: 9 ½ (OVER -160 UNDER +130)
With former Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy now leading the way, team owner Jerry Jones has raised the bar about as high as it can go for 2020.
Jones failed to give Prescott the long-term contract he was looking for. Yet, the fifth-year vet is expected to still lead this team back to Super Bowl glory. In conjunction with the team’s lofty expectations, Dak has a few of his own.
The prop bet for total passing yards has been set at 4319 ½. The betting odds favor the OVER at -130. The odds he throws for fewer yards than that are -110.
One other posted performance prop at MYB Casino is for total passing touchdowns. That number is set at 27 ½ with the same -130 odds for the OVER and -110 odds for the UNDER.
Dallas has done a good job at surrounding Dak with an excellent receiving corps to get the job done. There are a few questions up front but for the most part his offensive line is solid. The right pieces appear to be in place. This makes it easy to see why the betting public has driven up the odds on these two numbers.

Betting any prop is all about value. The value in these two props is with the UNDER but they are not plus money. Plus money for any prop is where the best value can be found.
None the less, if you were to bet these two Prescott props, how should you go? As far as total passing yards, Dak crossed the 4,000-yard threshold in 2019 for the first time. He threw for 4,902 yards which was the second most in the NFL.
He has yet to miss a start in four previous seasons. Playing the full 16 games this year, it would be hard to see him throw for fewer than 4,320 yards. Take the OVER in this prop at the slightly higher risk.
After throwing for 67 touchdowns in his first three seasons as starter, Prescott reached 30 in 2019. This was good for fourth most in the league.
Reaching 28 TD passes this season will still be a challenge. Dallas still turns to running back Ezekiel Elliott quite a bit in scoring position. Prescott himself is always a threat to run for a score close to the goal line. The value in this prop leans towards the UNDER.
