Patrick Mahomes proved his MVP credentials once again last week as he led the Chiefs to a final-minute 75-yard drive to secure the win over the Raiders. He did throw one pick, but ended the game with more than respectable 350 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Kansas City offense seems unstoppable at the moment but will face probably the biggest challenge of the season going against the Bucks, especially when it comes to running.
Tampa’s defense is near the top of the league, but their secondary had some issues and was exposed last week by Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. We can expect more of the same this week with Patrick Mahomes who’s becoming a human cheat code and speedy WR Tyreek Hill who should be able to carve this defense wide open. Both should be a lock in fantasy lineups despite the seemingly tougher matchup.

This may be the last time Tom Brady faces Patrick Mahomes and Tampa Bay’s QB will be super-motivated to make a statement against a player many see as his successor in the league. Whether he’ll be able to do it is a different story. He didn’t look too good lately throwing for two interceptions and 216 yards on a 54.2 percent completion against the Rams. He has probably the best receiving core in the league at his disposal and many believe that head coach Bruce Arians’ obsession with deep passing is hindering Brady’s natural game. The defense has also seen a bit of a drop-off in the last few weeks and will face the scary proposition of trying to contain Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce on Sunday.
Despite some average online football betting performances, Brady is still a solid play in fantasy as we can expect a bunch of points on both sides. The Chiefs’ defense had trouble handling Derek Carr last week and Brady is probably an even tougher matchup. WR Antonio Brown has seen the number of his targets drastically rise since joining the Bucs and although it still hasn’t translated to scoring, he could be a sneaky good pick for Sunday.
