BetOnline Poker Kicks Off Their Progressive Knockout Tournament Series

After the great success of previous editions, the Progressive Knockout Tournament series is back at BetOnline Poker. This time, the competition features the biggest prize pool ever. Players will have a chance to compete for their share of the unbelievable $1.000.000 of guaranteed rewards. Daily tournaments kick off on February 14th. Members can join in until February 28th at BetOnline.ag, SportsBetting.ag and TigerGaming.com. By participating in these events, players will also climb the $10,000 King of the Ring Leaderboard. That way they’ll get another shot at even more winnings.

$1 Million King of the Ring Tournament Series

Progressive knockout events differ from regular poker events. Unlike the traditional format, PKO tournaments bring players a chance to earn more than their buy-in even before dipping into the massive prize pool. The buy-in is split into two equal parts. One half is added to the prize pool. The other half presents a bounty on your head. When you knock a rivaling player from the competition, one half of the bounty will be added to your prize. The rest counts towards the bounty price for your head.

$10,000 King of the Ring Leaderboard

Another chance to win in this tournament format is by climbing the King of the Ring leaderboard. Participation in the KOTR tournament will also earn you points counting towards the leaderboard. As with real boxing events, the players will be divided into four weight categories. So, there will be a separate leaderboard for each weight class.

The categories are determined by the buy-in amounts

The Featherweight class will feature players with $0 – $4.99 buy-ins. Participants with buy-ins from $5 to $19.99 will form the Lightweight class. With the $20 – $99.99 buy-ins, you’ll compete on the Middleweight leaderboard. And, finally, players with buy-ins worth more than $100 will belong to the Heavyweight class.

The four players topping each of the leaderboards will participate in the final Sit & Go round. The prize pool here is $2.500.

This final event will be held on Sunday, March 7th at 3:00 pm ET.

The players on the Featherweight leaderboard will split a $1.000 pot. The first prize in this class is $100 plus the entry to the King of the Ring tournament. The lightweight leaderboard features a $1.500 prize pool. The most successful participant will pocket $150plus the entry to the KOTR. Middleweight contestants will share $2.000 with the best among them winning $200 and the ticket to KOTR. The Heavyweight class is worth $3.000. The winner gets $300 and, of course, the entry to the KOTR. The best player in the final round wins $1.000.

The complete bounty part of the buy-in goes to players. BetOnline prides itself on the ZERO RAKE on this matter. They’re one of the rare casino available to the US players that features this kind of benefit.

If you’re still not a member at BetOnline, head over there and register in time to join this fantastic tournament. Besides this fantastic event, the occasion has plenty of other cool stuff going on at all times.
