Best Super Bowl Future Bets
Last night, we learned which two teams will face off in Super Bowl LV. The conference championship games produced a dream matchup for the big game. On February 7th, the Buccaneers will welcome the Chiefs at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The game will also mark the first time a team will play in Super Bowl at their home stadium.
Best Super Bowl Future Bets
It’s also a showdown between two generational quarterbacks. On one side of the field, we’ll have Tom Brady, the consensus greatest QB of all time. On the other, Patrick Mahomes, reigning Super Bowl MVP and leader of the new NFL generation. The game will likely be decided by which one of the two can out-duel the other.
The reigning champions are coming to Tampa after a convincing win over Buffalo. After an early scare in the first quarter, they easily disposed of the Bills, 38-24. Tom Brady led his team to an upset in Green Bay. The Bucs entered the game at Lambeau Field as -3 road underdogs. Still, they came out of the gates flying with a 28-10 lead at the start of the second half. They slowed down a bit afterward, but still managed to hold on to the win. Both QBs were instrumental in Sunday’s wins. Mahomes threw for 325 yards and 3 touchdowns. Brady had 280 yards through the air and 3 TDs but also threw three interceptions.
Early Super Bowl Future Betting Odds Analysis
The early odds for the Super Bowl are already out. Many experienced bettors will jump on the early lines. That way they can get ahead of any unfavorable movements.
At the moment, the Chiefs are -3 favorites. The Kansas City moneyline odds are-165. Some bookies went even shorter, offering -170. Tampa Bay is at +145 at most sportsbooks. The total is set at 57. It’s the highest total in the Super Bowl history.
The Chiefs were also the pre-season favorites. The odds on them winning the title were at +600. Before the season started, you could get +1500 on the Buccaneers to win it all. To have some sense of the success Tampa Bay accomplished, the same odds were offered for the Cowboys.
Superbowl Game Preview
The two teams met already this season. In Week 12, the Chiefs won 27-24. Kansas City got out to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter. Still, Tampa Bay managed to score 14 unanswered points in the fourth to make it a close game. In this game, Mahomes was sensational. He threw for a fantastic 463 yards and added 3 touchdowns. Hill and Kelce were also on fire, with 172 and 118 yards, respectively.
If the young QB manages to repeat such a game, another Super Bowl ring is within reach. However, there are two factors that may tilt the odds in Tampa’s favor. First, Mahomes in nursing a toe injury, significantly limiting his movement. Second, this time around he’ll have much less protection. His offensive line has been depleted. The latest addition to the injury list is OT Eric Fisher who suffered an Achilles injury last night. And let’s not forget, this will be Brady’s 10th Super Bowl. If there’s anyone you don’t want to bet against in the title game, it’s him.
Either way, it’s possible that these lines won’t last long. Another injury to a key player could swing the odds completely. Not to mention a possibility of multiple players being placed in Covid protocol. If you like these odds, better jump on them while they’re here.
